THA hosted a fundraising event for the Mohawk Village Memorial Park, a visionary project on the site of the former Girls’ Playground of the former Mohawk Residential School in Brantford, Ontario. The Park, on the five acres of land will be a place of contemplation, education, remembrance and healing for the generational survivors and their families of Residential Schools in Canada.

The evening included music and poetry, guest speakers and performers, a silent auction, and a presentation on the Park and its history. It was truly inspiring to learn more about this initiative, and to be witnesses and supporters of this very significant act on behalf of survivors. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible.
